Enjoy your last private jeep wildlife safari into the park this morning. After this you will return to your lodge to freshen up and enjoy breakfast. After checking-out you will proceed on the drive through jungles and rural areas to Kanha Tiger Reserve. A packed lunch is provided by your lodge for the journey.

Trehan Journeys recommends that, while planning your dates, you keep in mind the fact that there are no safaris on Wednesday afternoons at Bandhavgarh and Kanha. So, this 5 hour jungle drive should ideally be scheduled for a Wednesday. However, if this is not possible, there are many other activities available at the lodges, such as village and nature walks. .

It is a beautiful part of India’s jungles, with lightly wooded grassland and many streams and rivers. It is the home of a variety of animals including tiger, panther, and many species of deer, wild pig, bison, a variety of monkeys and other animals, as well as some 200 species of birds. It is obviously a part of ‘Project Tiger,’ one of India’s most important conservation efforts.
